Powervation Selects APEC For First Public Demo

POWERVATION SELECTS APEC FOR FIRST PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION OF COMPANY’S NEW DIGITAL POWER TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

PALO ALTO, Calif. and LIMERICK, Ireland, Feb 9, 2009—Powervation, an emerging innovator of Auto-control™ digital power integrated circuits (ICs), has selected APEC 2009 (Feb. 15-19, Washington D.C.) to stage the first public demonstration of its technology. At the conference—one of the world’s premier power electronics expositions—Powervation will host a booth and leverage several presentations to showcase its digital power technology solution, launched last September in San Francisco. A full product rollout is slated for later this year.

Vice President of Marketing, Benoit Herve will perform a demonstration of the industry’s first Plug-and-Power™ digital converter at the exhibitor seminar to be held on Wed., Feb. 18th from 11:15-11:45 a.m. A deep-dive into the technical features and a live demonstration of Powervation’s unique Auto-control™ algorithms will be presented by Ron Vinsant, Member of The Technical Staff at Powervation. Vinsant’s presentation, “Adaptive Compensation Technology is Changing Loop Stability Criteria” will be delivered during the special session on the future of the DC converter to be held on Wed., Feb. 18th from 2:00-5:30 p.m.
